Welcome to LINC y Gogledd ...
LINC stands for "Libraries in Co-operation".
No longer are you limited to what's available in your local library - if you are a member of any LINC library, the LINC scheme means that the resources of all the Public and College Libraries in Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Gwynedd, and of the University of Wales Bangor Library, are also open to you.
How to use LINC ...
Search the LINC library catalogues to locate the library which has the book you want. If you are a Public Library member, and the book is in the library at the University of Wales Bangor or at a College of Further Education* in the LINC area, you can either:
- go to your local public library and ask for the book to be delivered there
or
- click Join to download a registration form which entitles you to visit the University or College* Library, and borrow in person.
If you are a student at the University of Wales Bangor or at a Further Education College, and are also a member of a public library, you can ask at your local public library branch for your University or College textbooks to be delivered there.
* Please note that some College of Further Education libraries may be used for reference only at present. Check the library name on this website to find out whether this is the case.
